Frameless Glass Doors

Cheadle Glass designs, manufactures and installs made-to-measure frameless all-glass doors which are both functional and have huge aesthetic appeal.

Frameless glass doors are a stylish and contemporary option and are ideal for use where additional light is required in a room.

Glass doors can be used for a variety of openings, in both commercial and domestic applications, and can easily be incorporated in to glass partitions, giving a contemporary all glass look.

Description

Our team is on hand to advise on the best frameless glass door option and specification for your requirements. The glass door supplied will depend on the size and weight of the door, frequency and type of use.

There are 4 types of door:

• Type A – Fitted with metal rails running the full width of both the top and bottom edges of the door.
  
  
• Type B – These glass doors have a rail on the lower edge only and a corner patch fitting at the top.
  
  
• Type C – These have corner patch fittings incorporating a top pivot and a floor spring spigot housing. This type of glass door exposes the maximum possible area of glass.
  
  
• Type D – These glass doors are wall hung with hydraulic hinges and close automatically.

Folding & Sliding Glass Doors

Cheadle Glass offers bespoke folding and sliding glass doors, also known as bi-fold doors, which bring light and versatility to any home. They are available in aluminium or uPVC.

Bi-fold doors have become increasingly popular as modern homes incorporate a more open plan design giving people the ability to open up living space and bring the outside in.

Introduction

The folding and sliding glass doors fitted by Cheadle Glass are not only aesthetically pleasing, but they are hugely versatile and can alter the use of rooms, making them more flexible for family living.

Bi-fold doors allow you to enjoy unrestricted views of your garden, terrace, patio or conservatory. They allow you to open up a whole wall or you can even open two corners of a room.

Description

When open, the doors can be stacked at one end, or at both ends. The system also allows you to open a single panel or a pair, like patio doors. Our team is on hand to advise on the best folding and sliding glass door option and specification for your requirements.

Choose from modern, retro, colonial or classical and the doors can be glazed with standard, toughened or laminated glass or can be double glazed.

To save on energy bills our bi-fold doors come with a minimum C-rated energy rating.
